GKR KARATE INFORMATION
Go-Kan-Ryu Karate is a traditional Japanese style of karate. GKR was founded by Robert Sullivan in Adelaide, SA. Robert first began training in the art of karate in 1964, and spend time training and teaching in both Japan and the USA before establishing GKR in 1984.
GKR Karate is taught in a non-contact environment and promotes both character and physical development. GKR is a club for all ages and promotes self-defence, fitness, coordination, discipline, confidence and stress relief.
People of all walks of life can train together and learn the art of Karate in a safe, fun and encouraging environment.
For only £36 a month, you will have access to as many sessions as you want per a week.
GKR Karate class schedule at Birtley Community Centre:
Monday & Tuesday at Birtley Community Centre from 6pm-8pm,
Friday from 4pm-7pm,
Saturday from 10am-11am and 11:15am-12:15pm, as well as 12:30pm-1:30pm,
Sunday from 10am-1pm
